WiSS Timeline

2005 February
WiSS starts off with the development of the new generation software for the Swiss construction industry. This software package is supposed to be developed using the cutting edge technology available today. And a five-member team from WiSS visits Switzerland for the study of the proposed technologies.
2004 September
WiSS enters into marketing tie-up with Software Solutions(Softsole) of UAE. Softsole is one of the most high-profile software marketing firms in the Middle East, who deals with quality software firms across the glob.
2004 July
WiSS is retained as the technical collaborator of ABBF Bausoft Ag for all of their future software development. This came as a prestigious moment for WiSS, since this recognition is the result of all the quality hard work put by WiSS through the last several years.
2004 April
WiSS launches its operations in Middle East. The strategy for Middle East countries was to obtain a firm foothold in the packaged office automation software field.
2002 November
ASIS Ag merges with ABBF Bausoft Ag and WiSS stays as the backbone of the whole development works. With the merger, the whole of the software development of BBE software suite was shifted to WiSS.
2000 November
The on-time implementation of the Stock Information System for OLAER Switzerland prompted the corporation to adopt the same system for their other country head quarters. Now this software is installed at Austria, Czechoslovakia and Germany.
2000 September
WiSS shifts its software development activities to the new world-class development centre in the IT Park, Cochin Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) situated in the city of Cochin. This zone has been setup by the government of India and its infrastructure can be matched to the best development setup in South East Asia. This development centre can accommodate upto 75 developers and support staff.
CSEZ is one of the three economic zones specially promoted by the Government of India. It is exclusively for export firms and enjoys special privileges.
1999 April
WiSS bags the prestigious contract of OLAER Schweiz Ag. The contract required WiSS to develop the Stock |nformation System for the Switzerland centre of the multinational giant. The software system was completed and implemented in record time using Delphi and Oracle.
1998 July
WiSS plays a major role in rolling out the GaLa/Magi software for Gardening & landscaping community of Switzerland. The software was an instant success all through Switzerland.
1997 December
ASIS Ag. enters into collaboration with WiSS. This was a direct recognition of the quality work output by WiSS. By entering into joint venture with ASIS Ag., WiSS becomes the software provider for the biggest consortium of builders and archetects in Switzerland viz. Scheizericher Baumeister Verband(SBV).
1996 October
WiSS starts creating software for the Swiss firm ASIS Ag Fribourg. ASIS Ag. was one of the established software houses in Switzerland, dealing in the packaged software for construction buisness. WiSS played vital role in the ongoing development plans ASIS Ag.
1996 August
Wiltech Software Solutions(P) Ltd. is founded as an independent software house. The firm was situated in the southernmost district viz. Trivandrum of Kerala state. The southern state of Kerala is one of the most advanced states in India in the areas of education, health, living standards etc. Trivandrum was the hub of IT activities in Kerala and had the presence of all IT majors in India.
